Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert advice and technical assistance in the preparation of annual budgets and financial plans.
  • Measure and analyze organizational performance, assessing the effects of various programs and policies on the budget and financial management.
  • Examine budget estimates or proposals for completeness, accuracy, and conformance with established financial procedures, regulations, and organizational objectives.
  • Conduct thorough cost-benefit analysis to review financial requests, assess program tradeoffs, and explore alternative funding methods.
  • Examine past and current budgets, researching economic and financial developments that affect our spending and financial management.
  • Develop and implement guidelines and policies governing the formulation and maintenance of budgets and financial plans.
  • Coordinate financial activities across various stakeholders, including management, departments, and external partners.
  • Manage finances across multiple funding types, including grants, contracts, and internal funding sources.
  • Track budgets, costs, and variances, providing regular financial reports and analysis to management and stakeholders.
  • Produce executive summaries and financial reports, providing key insights and recommendations to management and stakeholders.
  • Conduct financial reporting and analyses on financial issues and customer requirements, providing expert advice and guidance.
  • Develop and propose courses of actions (COAs) and recommendations for financial issues, ensuring alignment with organizational strategic goals and objectives.
  • Interpret and apply financial management principles, processes, and techniques, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational policies.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
  • 3 years of relevant financial experience, preferably in a similar industry or role.
