Job Responsibilities: Lead analyst for complex financial projects in Corporate Development and Capital Planning to ensure alignment with the mission, values, and objectives of the department and organization. Support strategy, organizational planning, and operational leadership to manage growth initiatives involving mergers & acquisitions, joint ventures, affiliations, and alliances. Assess financial impacts of strategic capital requests including business plan reviews and initiative prioritization. Creates and edits financial assessments of significant enterprise strategic partnering transactions and reports findings and recommendations to department leadership and senior leadership. Works closely with internal and external subject matter experts to develop comprehensive business plans, risk assessments, and sensitivity analyses. Provides lead analytical support for assessing and prioritizing strategic capital initiatives. Prepares, analyzes, and communicates key financial information. Assists with preparation and review of business plans and provides reporting on capital initiatives. Executes departmental goals and standards consistent with organizational requirements/objectives. Demonstrates knowledge of statutory, regulatory, and administrative requirements and ensures compliance. Develops and updates a portfolio of organizational performance improvement initiatives. Provides supervision and leadership for Analyst corporate development staff. Handles ad hoc assignments involving financial modeling and selected topic deep dives. Other duties as assigned. Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's degree in business, healthcare, or related field required; Master's degree recommended. Certified Public Accountant (CPA)/Certified Managed Accountant (CMA) certification/Master's degree preferred. Minimum of 3 years of related experience. Competencies (Complexity of Work): Must be able to work on multiple projects simultaneously and meet firm deadlines. Requires understanding of financial complexities for strategic partnering transactions, financial modeling, valuation, NPV/IRR, and risk assessment. Strong analytical, consultative, and information support skills. Experience with internal data systems and financial analyses. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Ability to work in a collaborative, shared leadership environment. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information. Ability to perform work in a stationary position for extended periods. Ability to work with physical records or operate office equipment. Ability to travel throughout the hospital system in some locations. Ability to move up to 25 lbs in some locations.
