POSITION SUMMARY

The Senior Financial Analyst within the Corporate Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team is essential in facilitating the organization’s financial strategy, forecasting, and comprehensive planning initiatives. This role is pivotal in driving innovation within Corporate FP&A by refining and enhancing financial models, reports, and presentations. Regular collaboration with cross-functional teams and senior management is expected to address budgeting and forecasting challenges. Additionally, this position oversees the corporate performance management system, Oracle EPM, leveraging it to optimize processes and elevate deliverables.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Financial Planning & Forecasting:
    • Facilitates the organization’s financial planning, forecasting, and strategic planning efforts. Aids in crafting related presentations and documentation.
    • Refines forecast models utilizing key indicators, trend assessments, economic conditions, and strategic insights from the Executive Leadership Team.
    • Evaluates the precision and reliability of forecast models.
    • Challenges forecasting assumptions to ensure projections are feasible, align with business objectives, and adequately account for known risks and opportunities.
    • Supports the monthly financial closing process by analyzing the causes of significant variances from forecasts and prior periods, providing relevant commentary on financial outcomes.
    • Identifies risks and opportunities in forecasts based on actual performance.
  • System Management:
    • Acts as the system administrator for the corporate performance management system, Oracle EPM, and aids in maintaining all financial master data.
    • Contributes to the development of new reports and dashboards within the system.
    • Continuously seeks opportunities to better utilize the system to enhance processes and improve deliverables.
  • Management Reporting:
    • Assists in the preparation, analysis, and dissemination of management reports, KPIs, dashboards, and internal/external presentations, including Board of Directors and quarterly earnings reports.
    • Supports ad-hoc analysis and requests as necessary.
  • Cross-Functional Support:
    • Collaborates with various teams to enhance processes, establish targets, formulate plans, identify risks and opportunities, conduct analyses, and assess outcomes.
    • Facilitates the flow of information between the Executive Leadership Team, FP&A teams, accounting departments, and other critical stakeholders.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Preferred Education: Graduate Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or Finance
  • Minimum Experience: 3-5 years in Accounting and/or Finance, with experience in managing corporate performance management systems (e.g., Oracle EPM)
