POSITION SUMMARY

The Senior Financial Analyst in Corporate Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) is essential in aiding the organization’s financial strategy, forecasting, and long-term financial planning initiatives. This role is pivotal in driving innovation within Corporate FP&A, enhancing financial models, reports, and presentations. Regular collaboration with cross-functional teams and senior management is a key aspect of this position, focusing on budgeting and forecasting discussions. Additionally, this role acts as the administrator for the corporate performance management system, Oracle EPM, leveraging it to refine processes and improve deliverables.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Financial Planning & Forecasting:
    • Facilitates the corporate financial planning, forecasting, and long-term planning processes. Aids in the development of relevant presentations and deliverables.
    • Updates forecasting models by utilizing key drivers, trend analysis, economic indicators, and strategic insights from the Executive Leadership Team.
    • Monitors the precision and reliability of forecasting models.
    • Challenges assumptions within forecasts to ensure they are realistic, align with business objectives, and adequately consider known risks and opportunities.
    • Supports the monthly financial closing process by analyzing variances against forecasts and prior periods, providing insightful commentary on financial outcomes.
    • Evaluates risks and opportunities in forecasts based on actual performance.
  • System Administration:
    • Acts as the system administrator for the corporate performance management system, Oracle EPM, ensuring the upkeep of all financial master data.
    • Contributes to the development of new reports and dashboards within the system.
    • Continuously seeks opportunities to enhance the system’s utility to improve processes and elevate deliverables.
  • Management Reporting:
    • Assists in the preparation, analysis, and dissemination of management reports, KPIs, dashboards, and both internal and external presentations, including Board of Directors and quarterly earnings reports.
    • Supports ad-hoc analytical requests as necessary.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:
    • Collaborates with various teams to enhance processes, establish targets, formulate plans, identify risks and opportunities, conduct analyses, and assess outcomes.
    • Facilitates the flow of information among the Executive Leadership Team, FP&A teams, accounting departments, and other key stakeholders.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

Minimum Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance

Preferred Education: Graduate Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or Finance

Minimum Experience: 3-5 years in Accounting and/or Finance, with experience in managing corporate performance management systems (e.g., Oracle EPM)

  • Experience with corporate performance management systems (e.g., Oracle EPM)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
