The LGBTQ+ Health and Wellness Program Specialist will provide direct services, assist with training and technical assistance initiatives, coordinate events, and evaluate programs. Key responsibilities include leading Black & Latin@ Gay Pride, the LGBT Student Roundtable, training and technical assistance projects, and serving as the lead on the biennial UTD LGBT POC Health Conference and comprehensive community-wide pulse check survey. Key Responsibilities: Provide direct services including advocacy, counseling, and group facilitation. Serve as the lead staff for LGBT youth and drop-in center activities. Support the Program Director and Special Events Coordinator in planning and executing major IOOV events, including coordination of planning committee meetings, researching venues, and recruiting participants, volunteers, and speakers. Conduct face-to-face and online outreach in underserved areas to promote program enrollment. Assist in developing program evaluation tools, community surveys, and needs assessments. Lead the distribution and collection of evaluation tools, community surveys, and needs assessments. Ensure all activities are accurately entered into appropriate databases, including a monthly AIRS extract. Submit documentation and reports in compliance with project requirements and provide monthly reports. Uphold confidentiality as required by law and IOOV policy. Qualifications: Demonstrated commitment to the mission of In Our Own Voices. Bachelor's degree preferred and highly recommended. Minimum of two years of human services experience, including outreach, education, or case management. Ability to work flexible hours, including after-hours and weekends.
