About the Role
As a Business Development Specialist, you'll be at the forefront of our company's ecosystem growth strategy. Your primary role will be business development focused on identifying and nurturing partnership opportunities, building relationships with prospective partners, and laying the groundwork for our ecosystem. This role requires a blend of research skills, excellent communication, and a results-driven mindset. You'll also represent our company at industry events, expanding our network and brand presence.
Responsibilities
Prospect and identify potential partners through various channels including networking events, online research, and social media platforms
Attend blockchain conferences, AI symposiums, and Web3 networking events
Create and maintain a pipeline of qualified leads to expand the partnership pipeline
Build and maintain relationships with partners
Research target blockchain and AI partners to understand their needs
Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and refine outreach strategies as well as co-marketing opportunities with partners
Track and report on key performance metrics, including outreach and leads generated
Maintain accurate records of all prospecting activities in Hubspot
Stay updated on industry trends and competitors
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, related field, or equivalent experience
4+ years of experience in sales, business development, or a customer-facing role
Experience working in Crypto, BD for blockchain Layer 1 or 2
Familiarity with and keen interest in emerging technologies, particularly AI and web3
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proficiency in using CRM software (preferably HubSpot)
Strong research and analytical skills
