We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Risk and Compliance Manager to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for assessing, mitigating, and managing IT risks and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards. You will work closely with our clients, providing strategic guidance and practical solutions to help them achieve their IT risk and compliance objectives. Your expertise in risk assessment, regulatory compliance, and IT governance will be instrumental in developing and implementing effective risk management and compliance programs.

In this role, you will:
  • Collaborate with clients to identify and evaluate IT risks, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of their business objectives and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities, threats, and potential impacts on IT systems, infrastructure, and data.
  • Develop and implement IT risk management strategies, frameworks, and methodologies tailored to each client's unique needs.
  • Assist clients in establishing and maintaining effective IT governance processes, policies, and procedures.
  • Monitor regulatory changes and industry trends to ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and standards.
  • Assess and evaluate IT controls, processes, and systems to identify gaps and recommend remediation actions.
  • Design and implement IT compliance programs, including risk-based controls testing, monitoring, and reporting.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, such as auditors, legal teams, and senior management, to address IT risk and compliance issues.
  • Provide training and guidance to clients on IT risk management, compliance best practices, and emerging technologies.
  • Stay abreast of emerging technologies, industry best practices, and advancements in IT risk management and compliance frameworks.
Who You Are:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. A master's degree is preferred.
  • Proven experience (5 years) working in IT risk management, IT compliance, or a similar role.
  • In-depth knowledge of relevant regulations and industry standards, such as GDPR, HIPAA, ISO 27001, NIST, etc.
  • Strong understanding of IT governance frameworks, such as COBIT or ITIL.
  • Experience in conducting IT risk assessments and developing risk mitigation strategies.
  • Familiarity with IT control frameworks and ability to evaluate controls effectiveness.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and deliver practical solutions.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Relevant certifications such as CISA, CRISC, CISSP, or equivalent are highly desirable.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced consulting environment.
