About The Position

An Internal Mortgage Consultant is responsible originating mortgage loans for eligible borrowers in the States of Nevada and California from applicable lead sources such as web, voice mail, third party sourced leads, portfolio leads, GNCU member leads, and client referrals.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Knowledge of mortgage products and programs in order to effectively guide and educate clients on the home buying process.
  • Manage the origination of mortgage loans and work closely with GNM Marketing Coordinator for various lead sources.
  • Knowledge of how to market to existing client database to remain top of mind with clients

Qualifications

  • 1+ years experience as a licensed Mortgage Loan Officer
  • Experience in Mortgage Origination
  • Strong Communication Skills
  • Exceptional Customer Service Skills
  • Ability to be flexible and work with membership as well as drive outside loan origination
  • Driven to be accountable for mortgage loan origination

Physical Demands

  • While performing the duties of your job, you may regularly be required to sit and use a keyboard, multiple monitors, mouse, and telephone (including repetitive motions with hands, fingers, arms, etc.) for extended periods of time. You may also frequently be required to stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms, bend, and kneel.
  • You may occasionally be required to lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Commission Only with incentive plans
