Job Description

We are recruiting a Diversity & Inclusion Program Manager for a progressive organization based in the greater Sacramento region. This role is responsible for managing effective administration of the company's diversity initiatives to ensure they are aligned with business objectives.

The ideal candidate will have strong current knowledge of diversity and inclusion trends/best practices and exceptional project management skills. Salary: $95k-$115k DOE.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Develop, execute, and communicate comprehensive diversity plans and initiatives.
  • Bring thought leadership and champion DE&I strategies and initiatives for employees and the company culture.
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition in support of regional diversity recruiting events, as well as key professional associations.
  • Partner with Human Resources and Learning & Development, aligning and ensuring Diversity & Inclusion principles are embedded in retention, employee development and talent management practices.
  • Facilitate Diversity & Inclusion Employee Council and establish/support Employee Resource Groups to build a more inclusive culture.
  • Partner with the HR Business Partners to implement Diversity & Inclusion strategies while expanding and improving talent reviews, performance management, career development, and employee engagement programs and tools.
  • In partnership with Enterprise Development & Communications, ensure Diversity & Inclusion research, best practices and strategies are fully incorporated in training development, design, and facilitation for all employees.
  • Manage and execute projects and initiatives such as planning, design, and development; identifying stakeholders, identifying key milestones, meeting deadlines, and creating appropriate metrics to assess desired outcomes.
  • Create and compile Diversity & Inclusion scorecards, reports and analyze trends to support success of diverse talent initiatives.
  • Provide advice and insight to Business stakeholders regarding company programs in the community that support diversity, equality, and inclusion.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • 5+ years related experience in Diversity & Inclusion and/or Project Management.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Human Resources, Organizational Development, or a related field equivalent direct DEI experience.
  • Demonstrated track record for delivering results through successful program design and implementation.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Strong decision making and comfort in making sound data-based recommendations.
  • Analytical skills and ability to translate metrics, research, and trends into actionable project plans.
  • Current knowledge and experience with D&I trends and/or research.
  • Ability to work with and collaborate with team members at all levels of the organization, partner with and influence team members to enhance inclusive business and operational best practices.
  • Experience developing Employee Resource Groups (ERG).
  • Initiative-taker, excellent time management and project management skills.
  • Exceptional written, oral and presentation skills.
  • Excellent inter-personal skills and ability to understand, communicate with and effectively interact with people across different cultures.
  • Ability to identify and resolve complex issues and proactively solve problems.
  • Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite and ability to generate statistical reports.
