Position Overview:
The Lead Program Scheduler plays a crucial role in the successful execution of our large-scale projects. This position involves the development and ongoing management of comprehensive program schedules, as well as the evaluation and oversight of contractor schedules.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain detailed program schedules, ensuring alignment with project goals.
- Conduct thorough reviews and analyses of contractor schedules to ensure compliance and accuracy.
- Oversee the project controls management efforts, including the creation of What-if analyses and schedule maintenance.
- Prepare weekly and monthly reports detailing schedule analysis and project progress.
- Collaborate with design teams to correlate program schedule activities with associated plans.
- Update schedule data and durations as design progresses, ensuring clarity on the basis for construction timelines.
- Provide regular updates and documentation to the project controls team.
- Manage changes in progress and duration, verifying the basis for schedule adjustments.
- Identify key items that may impact schedule structure, such as utility relocations and environmental considerations.
- Analyze current schedules for reliability and identify potential risks.
- Offer recommendations to enhance schedule reliability and efficiency.
- Identify critical path and key schedule elements to ensure timely project delivery.
