Overview:

Intelligent Waves is seeking a highly skilled and dynamic Financial Management Analyst to join our team in a client-facing role. As a key member of our Department of Defense (DoD) financial management team, you will play a crucial role in managing and optimizing financial processes, leveraging your expertise in SAP-FM, Qlik, Oracle, and Power BI.

Location & Travel: This will be a hybrid remote position located in the Crystal City, VA area and will require travel to other sites (10%). Flexibility to work 2-3 days per week onsite (Pentagon & McLean, VA), with the remaining days available for remote work. Travel will be reimbursed based on GSA Per Diem rates and DoD Joint Travel Regulations (JTR).

Security Clearance: This Financial Management Analyst position must be a United States Citizen and hold a current Secret security clearance. Ability to obtain a TS/SCI eligibility.

Employees are required to follow all company and customer site COVID-19 protocols.

Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to understand their financial management needs and provide tailored solutions to address their requirements.
  • Utilize your in-depth knowledge of SAP-FM, Qlik, Oracle, and Power BI to analyze financial data, identify trends, and create visually compelling reports and dashboards.
  • Perform data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) activities from various feeder systems, ensuring data accuracy and consistency.
  • Assist in the implementation and maintenance of financial systems, providing guidance and support to end-users.
  • Conduct thorough financial analyses, reconciliations, and audits to ensure compliance with regulations and identify potential areas for improvement.
  • Offer financial advisory services to clients, providing insights and recommendations based on your expert analysis.
  • Keep up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in financial management and technology, providing innovative ideas to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 5 years of demonstrated experience as a Financial Management Analyst, within DoD Headquarters or DoD Components.
  • High level of proficiency in SAP-FM, Qlik, Oracle, and Power BI, with a track record of leveraging these tools to drive meaningful insights and support decision-making.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex financial data accurately.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with clients and stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.

Nice to Have:

  • Knowledge of Qlik/Qlik Sense, QVD/QlikView, and Qlik Production Application Standards (QPAS) is a significant plus.
  • Recent DoD or IC-related experience.
  • Previous experience with Advana is a plus.
