Position Overview
As a Management Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Chief of Staff (CoS) with essential operational functions and various programs that influence the strategic objectives of the Department of Defense.

Key Responsibilities

Your primary duties will encompass:

  • Assisting in the execution of mission-related tasks while adhering to applicable laws, executive orders, and regulations.
  • Contributing to the development and modification of program goals, methodologies, and resource allocations throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Managing personnel action requests, including recruitment and promotions, ensuring compliance with effective management practices.
Conditions of Employment

To qualify for this position, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • U.S. Citizenship is mandatory.
  • Compliance with Selective Service registration requirements for males born after a specified date.
  • Willingness to undertake occasional travel, both within the continental U.S. and internationally.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret/SCI security clearance.
Qualifications

Applicants should possess:

  • One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GG-13 grade level in the Federal service, demonstrating expertise in:
    • Advising senior leadership on management and operational programs.
    • Ensuring adherence to mission requirements and relevant regulations.
    • Providing guidance on management actions and personnel requests.

This position is part of the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS) and does not confer civil service competitive status. Selected candidates will be required to acknowledge their acceptance of the terms of this appointment.
