Position Overview
As a Management Analyst, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Chief of Staff (CoS) in the execution of daily operations and various programs that significantly influence the strategic objectives of the Department of Defense.

Key Responsibilities

Your primary duties will encompass:

  • Assisting in the management and oversight of operational functions and advising senior leadership on human capital management initiatives.
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant laws, executive orders, and regulatory guidelines throughout all mission-related activities.
  • Contributing to the development and refinement of program goals, methodologies, and resource allocations throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Managing personnel action requests, including recruitment and promotions, ensuring adherence to effective management practices.
Requirements

To be eligible for this position, candidates must meet the following conditions:

  • U.S. Citizenship is mandatory.
  • Compliance with Selective Service registration requirements for males born after a certain date.
  • Willingness to undertake occasional travel, both domestically and internationally.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret/SCI security clearance.
Qualifications

Applicants should possess:

  • One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GG-13 grade level in the Federal service, demonstrating proficiency in overseeing management programs and providing strategic consultation.
  • Experience in interpreting policies and regulations related to management actions.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to engage effectively with various stakeholders.

This position is part of the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS) and does not confer civil service competitive status. Candidates must acknowledge the nature of the position and its requirements upon selection.
