We are seeking a passionate individual committed to equitable energy transitions that prioritize community needs. This role is pivotal for the organization, as you will be collaborating closely with stakeholders to advance operational oversight, resource management, and compliant reporting aligned with federal standards.
Role Responsibilities:
- Lead development of standards and processes to ensure compliance and quality requirements.
- Provide guidance on compliance matters to senior program leadership.
- Mentor senior managers on compliance and financial reporting practices.
- Establish processes for detailed metrics tracking across projects and regions.
- Define procedures for participant enrollment, certification, and lifecycle tracking.
- Manage procurement processes, subaward contracts, and compliance monitoring.
- Define and monitor federal and state wage reporting requirements.
- Provide consultation on funding agency requirements and regulatory compliance.
- Support program budget management to optimize resource allocation.
- Manage compliance requirements and develop best practices.
- Develop standards for transparent reporting to senior management and funding agencies.
- Maintain a comprehensive compliance risk log and report to senior management.
- Contribute to financial performance reporting and federal regulation adherence.
- Develop and manage document and data management processes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Public Administration, Environmental Science, Renewable Energy, Business Administration, or equivalent experience.
- Proficiency in federal grant management, including relevant compliance regulations.
- 4-5 years of experience in compliance management, quality assurance, or related fields.
- Experience in nonprofit, renewable energy, or environmental sectors preferred.
- Experience with federal grant reporting, particularly EPA or similar agencies.
