Purpose of the RoleThis position plays a critical role in the execution of PacifiCorp's comprehensive regulatory compliance program, focusing on FERC/NERC/WECC Reliability Standards. The specialist will be involved in the ongoing development, implementation, coordination, and management of compliance initiatives.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee daily operations of the regulatory compliance program to ensure adherence to FERC requirements.
- Monitor evolving FERC regulations and collaborate with relevant departments to assess their implications.
- Facilitate communication between PacifiCorp and regional utilities regarding compliance matters.
- Assist business process owners in creating and maintaining compliance documentation.
- Plan and execute oversight activities to verify compliance with applicable regulations.
- Propose project timelines, budgets, and plans to management, while tracking progress against established objectives.
- Develop communication strategies to ensure the sustainability of deliverables from major initiatives.
- Work closely with business units to provide insights and technical support for compliance-related projects.
- Coordinate with various departments to address any identified compliance gaps.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Engineering, or a related discipline; or equivalent education and experience.
• At least five years of professional experience in a related field.
• Familiarity with regulatory policies, procedures, and practices.
• Strong project management, analytical, and investigative skills to formulate recommendations and action plans.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities, capable of addressing sensitive compliance issues.
• Ability to collaborate effectively across various organizational levels and with diverse teams.
• Proficient in using personal computers and software applications, including spreadsheets, databases, and presentation tools.

This role is eligible for an annual discretionary performance incentive bonus of up to 15% of salary.
