Overview

The Senior Regulatory Compliance Specialist plays a crucial role in the execution of PacifiCorp's comprehensive regulatory compliance program, specifically focusing on FERC/NERC/WECC Reliability Standards. This position involves the ongoing development, implementation, coordination, and maintenance of compliance activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily operations of the regulatory compliance program to ensure adherence to FERC regulations.
  • Monitor and analyze emerging FERC regulations, collaborating with relevant business units to assess impacts.
  • Facilitate communication between PacifiCorp and regional utilities regarding compliance matters.
  • Assist business process owners in creating, implementing, and maintaining compliance documentation.
  • Plan and execute oversight activities to verify compliance with applicable regulations.
  • Propose project plans, timelines, and budgets to management, tracking progress against established objectives.
  • Develop and implement effective communication strategies to ensure sustainability of program deliverables.
  • Work collaboratively with business personnel to provide insights and technical support for compliance-related projects.
  • Coordinate with various business units to address any identified compliance deficiencies.
Qualifications


• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Engineering, or a related discipline; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Minimum of five years of professional experience in compliance or a related field.

• Strong understanding of regulatory rules, policies, and procedures.

• Proficient in project management, analysis, and investigative skills to formulate recommendations.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of addressing sensitive compliance issues.

• Ability to collaborate with diverse teams and present viable alternatives and recommendations.

• Proficient in using personal computers, including spreadsheet, database, word processing, and presentation software.

Compensation Range: $100,700 - $118,400
This position is eligible for an annual discretionary performance incentive bonus of up to 15% of salary.
