About the Role:

Tetra Tech is committed to attracting top talent in the industry and nurturing their professional growth. We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to enhance our expanding renewable energy compliance and site restoration team. This team is involved in upland and riparian site revegetation and restoration, environmental compliance monitoring, and restoration science activities related to construction, restoration, and compliance for renewable energy initiatives. The Environmental Compliance Project Manager will oversee renewable energy environmental compliance projects from pre-construction phases through construction and into early-stage operations.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement revegetation and restoration plans to support site restoration efforts.
  • Monitor site conditions and manage contractors engaged in revegetation and restoration activities in the field.
  • Coordinate with regulatory agencies, technical teams, and contractors to ensure timely delivery of technical outputs.
  • Facilitate public outreach and ensure compliance with state and county land use regulations.
  • Maintain effective communication with clients, regulatory agencies, team members, and the public.

Qualifications:

  • B.S. in a relevant field (Restoration Ecology, Rangeland Management, Soils, Environmental Science, etc.) is preferred.
  • A minimum of 3 to 5 years of relevant experience is required.
  • Experience in the renewable energy sector is highly desirable.
  • Proven track record in environmental construction, monitoring, or site restoration/revegetation.
  • Strong understanding of restoration ecology and environmental compliance during construction activities.
  • Demonstrated project management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills with agency staff, clients, team members, subcontractors, and construction personnel.
  • Familiarity with permitting processes, requirements, and conditions.
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining clear communication with team members across various locations.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
