Justice Federal Credit Union has been designated as a Best Credit Union to Work For by American Banker, for a second year in a row We are seeking experienced, detail-oriented candidates with a passion for financial risk and compliance management for the position of Director of Risk Management. This role manages the day-to-day operations for the enterprise risk management program, including oversight of the Bank Secrecy Act/Anti-Money Laundering (BSA/AML) program, fraud, compliance, and organization wide-vendor management process. Key Job Functions: Develops and manages Enterprise Risk Management tools, practices, and policies to analyze and report enterprise risks. Assesses the risk potential of controls, activities, policies, and procedures, and aids in developing new practices and procedures to mitigate undue risk and loss to the credit union. Serves as the BSA Officer and the Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) Officer for the credit union. Ensures corrective actions are implemented to remedy compliance violations or deficiencies noted in internal/external audit reports and NCUA examinations on a timely basis. Maintains oversight of vendor management and the organization’s Business Continuity Plan (BCP), including scenario testing and training. Required Skills and Experience: Five to eight years of similar or related experience. Prior experience in a financial institution is a plus. A bachelor’s degree, or achievement of formal certifications recognized in the industry as equivalent to a bachelor’s degree. Knowledge of risk management or internal control frameworks and activities is a plus.
