We are in search of qualified, meticulous professionals who possess a strong interest in financial risk and compliance oversight for the role of Director of Risk Management.

This position is responsible for the daily management of the enterprise risk management framework, which encompasses the supervision of the Bank Secrecy Act/Anti-Money Laundering (BSA/AML) initiatives, fraud prevention, compliance measures, and comprehensive vendor management.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Designs and oversees Enterprise Risk Management methodologies, tools, and policies to evaluate and communicate enterprise risks effectively.
  • Evaluates the risk exposure of controls, activities, policies, and procedures, and assists in the formulation of new strategies to minimize potential risks and losses.
  • Acts as the BSA Officer and the Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) Officer for the organization.
  • Ensures that corrective measures are taken promptly to address compliance issues identified in internal and external audits.
  • Maintains oversight of vendor management and the organization's Business Continuity Plan (BCP), including scenario testing and training initiatives.

Qualifications and Experience Required:

  • A minimum of five to eight years of relevant experience, preferably within a financial institution.
  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent formal certifications recognized in the industry.
  • Familiarity with risk management or internal control frameworks is advantageous.
  • Physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs. as necessary, with the ability to engage in extended periods of sitting or standing, and proficient use of office equipment.
