Head of Risk and Compliance

We are in search of qualified, meticulous professionals who possess a strong interest in financial risk and compliance management for the role of Director of Risk Management.
This position is responsible for overseeing the daily functions of the enterprise risk management program, which includes the supervision of the Bank Secrecy Act/Anti-Money Laundering (BSA/AML) initiatives, fraud prevention, compliance adherence, and comprehensive vendor management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement Enterprise Risk Management tools, methodologies, and policies to evaluate and report on enterprise risks.
- Evaluate the risk potential of controls, activities, policies, and procedures, and assist in creating new practices to minimize risk and potential losses.
- Act as the BSA Officer and the Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) Officer.
- Ensure that corrective measures are taken promptly to address compliance violations or deficiencies identified in audits and examinations.
- Oversee vendor management and the organization’s Business Continuity Plan (BCP), including conducting scenario testing and training.
Required Qualifications:
- Five to eight years of relevant experience, preferably within a financial institution.
- A bachelor’s degree or equivalent certifications recognized in the industry.
- Familiarity with risk management or internal control frameworks is advantageous.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as necessary, and capable of extended periods of sitting or standing while utilizing office equipment.
