**Representative Responsibilities**:

- **Recruitment and Onboarding**: Consistently recruit excellent staff and maintain a smooth onboarding process.
- **Training and Development**: Train, counsel, and coach staff while resolving conflicts through positive and professional mediation.
- **Compensation and Benefits Management**: Manage benefits and compensation, conduct performance and wage reviews, and ensure competitive benefits through benchmarking.
- **Policy Development and Compliance**: Develop clear policies, ensure policy awareness, maintain and report on workplace health and safety compliance, and ensure the employee handbook is up-to-date with federal and state requirements.
- **Employee Relations**: Resolve employee concerns systematically, handle workplace investigations, disciplinary actions, and terminations, and maintain confidentiality.
- **Consultation and Advisory**: Consult and advise on leave management, unemployment tax reductions, employment verifications, and legal implications.
- **HR Reporting and Analysis**: Create clear and concise reports for HR KPIs, monitor the HR department’s budget, and research new HR trends.
- **Organizational Development**: Work with leaders to produce standard operating procedures, develop cohesive interdepartmental communication channels, and foster an innovative and empowering environment.

Educational Qualifications/Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, psychology or other related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.
- At least two (2+) years’ experience in as an HR Generalist with responsibilities including recruiting, compensation, training, goal setting, performance management, leave management, coaching, employee relations.
- Excellent time management skills and ability to multitask and prioritize work
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and planning skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and other common office software
