**REMOTE WORK FROM HOME (WFH) POSITION WITH RARE NEED TO TRAVEL TO A MEETING**

**SUMMARY OF POSITION**:
The **Talent Acquisition Specialist** is responsible for delivering outstanding services and facilitating hiring processes to the **Marmon Rail Group **of companies while learning the art and science of full lifecycle search and recruiting. **Companies served include Union Tank Car Company, Railserve, Ameritrack, EXSIF, Procor, Powerhouse, McKenzie Valve, Uniform Components, Transco, Prolium, and Trackmobile.**

**PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Screen and analyze applicant resumes for current job requisitions and pipeline building for future talent.
- Facilitate the Targeted Selection (TS) hiring process by scheduling interviews and related meetings.
- Liaison with our talent acquisition vendors such as HireRight, Data Facts, LinkedIn, Indeed, Zip Recruiter.
- Process Interns for the hiring managers.
- Cultivate strong knowledge of the organization, industry, and competitors.
- Learn and utilize talent acquisition industry best practices.
- Develop and execute reporting on key metrics such as open requisitions, interviews, time-to-fill, DEI, verbal offers, written offer letters, acceptance dates.
- Track applicant flow and start-to-finish process on searches.
- Assist with creation of offer letters.
- Develop proficiency in key talking points about our organization relevant to applicants.
- Build collaborative positive working relationships both internally and externally.
- Assist in performing reference and background checks for potential employees.
- Participate in special projects and training efforts.

**KEY AREAS OF DEVELOPMENT**:

- Learn about the products and services of the Marmon Rail Group entities.
- Become familiar with the various related roles / positions / job descriptions.
- Become proficient using the recruiting / talent acquisition module of MPower.
- Learn how to utilize a variety of search techniques including Boolean and networking.
- Learn about the Marmon “Targeted Selection” process and creation of TS interview guides.
- Develop interviewing skills.

**EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Communications, Psychology, Organizational Development, or other relevant degree focus.
- Minimum 2 years of related work experience.
