Sodexo is seeking an Executive Chef for a corporate service client located in Battle Creek, MI.

 

As an Executive Chef, you will be at utilizing local and organic ingredients when available to create mouthwatering dishes that delight our guests. Picture yourself in our dynamic kitchen, overseeing multiple stations including Sauté, Grill, Garde Mange, and Hearth Oven. You will be the driving force behind our culinary operations, ensuring that our line cooks deliver perfection on each plate. Your expertise and guidance will shape the flavors, presentation, and quality that our patrons crave.

 

This Executive Chef will work primarily Monday through Friday 5:30 AM-2:00 PM schedule with no weekends or holidays.

 

The Executive Chef will oversee the food production for café operations and catering for our corporate clients. The Executive Chef duties will include but not limited to:

 

  • Menu planning
  • Ordering
  • Inventory
  • Food and Labor cost
  • Hands on about 100% of the time
  • Heavy Catering

While the budgeted range for the position is posted, Sodexo salary offers are based on a candidate's specific criteria, like experience, skills, education and training.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Basic Education Requirement - Associate's Degree or equivalent experience
Basic Management Experience - 2 years
Basic Functional Experience - 2 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
