Position Overview:

The Field Sales Account Executive plays a pivotal role in overseeing the sales cycle and fostering profitable sales expansion within a designated territory, catering to both established and prospective customers. Your mission will be to achieve and surpass both corporate and regional targets for profitable sales growth, accounts receivable management, and customer loyalty.

  • Sales Strategy Development: Formulates and implements sales strategies aligned with company directives to service current accounts, secure orders, and cultivate new business opportunities. Identifies and follows up on sales leads.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Builds strong customer relationships by gaining a comprehensive understanding of their business needs and establishing a consultative partnership.
  • Value Proposition Engagement: Connects customer priorities with the company's value offerings to enhance engagement.
  • Proposal Preparation: Crafts sales proposals that include pricing, credit terms, and estimated delivery dates based on an understanding of production and logistics.
  • Market Intelligence: Stays informed about industry trends, product offerings, and competitive landscape by gathering relevant market intelligence.
  • Collaboration: Works closely with internal teams to achieve growth objectives and maintains open communication regarding customer successes and opportunities.
  • Reporting: Maintains and submits required sales reports, including daily activity logs and territory analyses.
  • Accounts Receivable Management: Reviews and manages customer accounts receivable to minimize financial risk.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree is required; equivalent experience may be considered.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in outside business-to-business sales, demonstrating success in solution-based selling.
  • Familiarity with industrial gases and welding supply sales is advantageous.
  • Proven ability to utilize a consultative sales approach to deliver comprehensive solutions.
  • Strong understanding of customer business dynamics and market trends.
  • Experience with SAP is a plus.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and presentation skills are essential.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Google Suite applications.
  • Self-motivated with a strong sense of urgency and the ability to work independently.
  • Must possess reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
  • Willingness to travel locally and regionally.
  • Adherence to safety protocols and regulations is mandatory.
