As Technical Support Specialist, you will provide outbound, first-level response on any information technology-related issues regarding the hardware and software within a Microsoft Windows platform. You will assist end-users over the phone, by email and through a centralized ticketing system to resolve or escalate any IT issues. Duties:
Provide technical assistance and support for reported issues related to laptops, systems, software, and hardware on a timely basis to meet SLAs
Use all means possible to assist users including by phone, via email, in-person, or using remote support tools
Analyze problems using troubleshooting skills and diagnostic tools to locate root cause of the problem and provide a permanent solution to the issue to prevent reoccurrence.
May be involved in installing operating systems, applications, hardware drivers, and customize system per customer's requirements
May be involved in configuration and troubleshooting of thick client application installed on Windows desktops including registering Dynamic Link Library (dll) and monitoring windows event viewer logs for application errors and resolving the same.
Qualifications:
Experience in technical support
Installation and troubleshooting knowledge of desktop operating systems, especially Microsoft Windows
Comfortable in a cubicle environment doing outbound technical support calls
Ability to communicate orally in a clear and supportive manner
Ability to analyze, troubleshoot and provide solutions
Models ethical behavior and displays leadership qualities
Bilingual Spanish/English
Hourly: $17 - $19/hr
