Austin, United States Unreal Gigs Full time
Introduction:

Are you a skilled relationship builder with a passion for driving growth and delivering value through strategic staffing solutions? Do you excel at managing key accounts, understanding client needs, and ensuring that staffing services align with business goals? If you're a proactive account manager who thrives on expanding partnerships and creating tailored talent strategies, then our client has an exciting opportunity for you. We're searching for a Strategic Account Manager (Staffing) (aka The Growth Navigator) to lead account management efforts, deliver workforce solutions, and drive client success.

As the Strategic Account Manager at our client, you'll be responsible for managing key accounts, building long-term partnerships, and ensuring that staffing services meet the unique needs of each client. This role isn't just about maintaining relationships-it's about being a trusted advisor who delivers strategic solutions that fuel growth and help clients achieve their business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Client Relationship Management:
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, serving as their main point of contact for all staffing-related matters. You'll engage with clients regularly to understand their workforce needs, business challenges, and long-term goals.
Strategic Staffing Solutions:
  • Develop and deliver tailored staffing solutions that align with client business objectives. Whether it's temporary staffing, direct hire, or project-based roles, you'll design strategies that address client needs and ensure long-term success.
Account Growth and Expansion:
  • Identify opportunities for account growth by offering additional staffing services and expanding into new business areas. You'll develop and execute strategies to grow client relationships, drive revenue, and increase the value of partnerships.
Collaboration with Recruiting Teams:
  • Partner with internal recruitment teams to ensure that client needs are met efficiently and with high-quality candidates. You'll work closely with recruiters to align client expectations, manage feedback, and ensure successful placements.
Contract Negotiation and Management:
  • Lead contract negotiations and renewals, ensuring that terms are mutually beneficial for both the client and the company. You'll oversee contract management, including SLAs, compliance, and billing.
Client Advocacy and Problem-Solving:
  • Act as the client advocate within the company, ensuring that client needs are met and concerns are addressed quickly. You'll proactively identify issues, resolve them efficiently, and maintain high levels of client satisfaction.
Performance Metrics and Reporting:
  • Track and analyze account performance metrics, such as client satisfaction, retention rates, and revenue growth. You'll provide regular reports to clients and leadership, demonstrating the value of staffing services and identifying opportunities for improvement.
Requirements

Required Skills:
  • Client Relationship Expertise: Proven ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships, with a proactive approach to understanding client needs and delivering tailored staffing solutions.
  • Strategic Thinking and Account Growth: Experience developing and executing strategies to grow client accounts, increase revenue, and expand services. You're skilled at identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.
  • Staffing Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of the staffing and recruitment process, including sourcing, candidate evaluation, and placement. You're comfortable discussing client needs and aligning staffing solutions with their business goals.
  • Contract Negotiation Skills: Experience negotiating contracts and service agreements, ensuring that terms are mutually beneficial and aligned with both client and company objectives.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work closely with clients, recruitment teams, and leadership. You're a natural collaborator who can align client needs with internal resources.
  • Problem-Solving and Client Satisfaction: Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to resolve client concerns quickly and ensure high levels of satisfaction. You thrive in fast-paced environments and are skilled at managing multiple client accounts.
  • Humor: A great sense of humor, because even in the high-pressure world of staffing, we believe in creating a positive and enjoyable work environment. If you can manage client relationships with a smile, you're our kind of account manager.
Educational Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, or a related field. Equivalent experience with a proven track record in account management within the staffing industry is also valued.
  • Certifications in sales, account management, or staffing (e.g., Certified Staffing Professional) are a plus. If you've completed client management or sales training, that's an added advantage.
Experience Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in account management or sales, with a focus on the staffing or recruitment industry. You've successfully managed key client accounts, grown relationships, and delivered tailored staffing solutions.
  • Proven success in managing multiple client accounts, navigating client needs, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver results.
  • Experience working in fast-paced staffing agencies, recruitment firms, or HR consulting companies is highly desirable.
Benefits
  • Health and Wellness: Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance plans with low co-pays and premiums.
  • Paid Time Off: Competitive vacation, sick leave, and 20 paid holidays per year.
  • Work-Life Balance: Flexible work schedules and telecommuting options.
  • Professional Development: Opportunities for training, certification reimbursement, and career advancement programs.
  • Wellness Programs: Access to wellness programs, including gym memberships, health screenings, and mental health resources.
  • Life and Disability Insurance: Life insurance and short-term/long-term disability coverage.
  • Employee Assistance Program (EAP): Confidential counseling and support services for personal and professional challenges.
