About the Role

Graybar is seeking a highly skilled Strategic Account Manager to join our team. As a Strategic Account Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to increase sales and profits with strategic customers. This role requires strong relationship-building skills, as well as the ability to think strategically and execute plans on time and on budget.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Develop and implement account strategies to increase sales and profits
  2. Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers
  3. Identify opportunities at assigned accounts and communicate them to appropriate personnel
  4. Coordinate activities with key suppliers
  5. Train districts, branches, and Field Account Managers as required

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in sales, marketing, and/or operating experience
  • Previous Account Representative experience preferred
  • 4-year degree preferred
  • Experience with sales, marketing, and operating processes
  • Negotiation skills
  • Ability to make oral and written presentations to all levels of audiences
