Job Summary

The Strategic Accounts Manager is responsible for maintaining and expanding relationships with strategically important large customers. This role requires a strong understanding of customer needs and the ability to develop strategies to meet sales plans and objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Interview and survey customers to understand their status and develop strategies to move forward.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer profiles, including revenue, fleet size, and relationship history.
  • Establish and maintain productive relationships with key personnel within the account.
  • Develop and implement annual account plans in collaboration with department heads and area managers.
  • Meet sales volume and strategic objectives, and coordinate the involvement of company personnel to meet account performance objectives.
  • Proactively assess and validate customer needs, and ensure ongoing customer satisfaction.
  • Lead solution development efforts, including product needs and conflict resolution.
  • Set pricing and terms, and ensure that the price book is updated.
  • Provide yearly price sheets for each account, and coordinate sales activities with area managers and sales support specialists.
Requirements
  • Three to five years of qualified related experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field required or equivalent degree and experience.
  • Strong MS Office computer skills, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
