Benevity is looking for a passionate, driven Regional Sales Director with a track record of success in leading Enterprise B2B software sales reps. The perfect candidate would have experience with value selling, excellent relationship management skills and genuinely enjoy working alongside sales reps to identify and develop prospects into Raving Fans of Benevity (RFOBs)

In this role you will focus on new client acquisition for Benevity's employee engagement and community investment software solutions for EMEA companies. You will be a key contributor by coaching sales reps through deals and helping them meet their quotas each quarter, as well as work closely with prospective clients as a trusted advisor to deeply understand their unique company challenges and goals. You will consult with prospective clients to evangelize solutions that will help them reach their business and social impact goals. You will help build cross-functional relationships, own the account distribution for your team, monitor pipeline and identify trends that help sell Benevity's SaaS solutions to enterprise companies. To be successful in this role, it is important that you are motivated by making a difference, you are passionate about beating your numbers, delivering accurate forecasts, while assisting clients in surpassing their goals, and harboring the ambition to contribute to the evolution of a forward-thinking, mission-oriented software enterprise.

What you'll do:

  1. Accurately forecast quarterly, and annual revenue numbers for your assigned region, with a dedication to hitting your number and meeting deadlines.
  2. Direct sales activities within your assigned area, set expectations, provide mentorship, prioritize efforts, hold the team accountable for building pipeline and executing each phase of the sales cycle.
  3. Coach sales teams to uncover new opportunities, develop net new clients, build Raving Fans of Benevity (RFOBs), demonstrate the differentiated value of Benevity solutions, and negotiate favorable pricing and terms by selling on impact, value and return on investment.
  4. Recruit, hire, onboard, and retain a dynamic sales team.
  5. Inspire, empower, coach and motivate, while pairing business and revenue objectives with appropriate growth initiatives.
  6. Train new hires on sales process, ensure expectations are clearly communicated and you are highly supportive.
  7. Consistently deliver revenue targets – ensuring company objectives are achieved quarter over quarter and year over year.
  8. Work as a team for the most efficient use and deployment of resources; collaborate with Sales Engineering, Client Services, Product, Legal and Marketing teams to create an amazing client experience.
  9. You will use CRM systems (Salesforce) extensively, as well as Outreach, Gong, LinkedIn Sales Navigator and Zoom.
What you'll bring:

  1. 5-7+ years' experience building and leading sales teams; ability to grow and scale upward with the company and with the following experience.
  2. Success leading sales teams in a fast-growing SaaS enterprise company.
  3. 5+ years direct software selling experience.
  4. Experience in selling within SaaS, HR Tech and to C-level executives is a plus.
  5. Experience in Corporate Social Responsibility, Community Investment/Corporate Grants or nonprofit is a plus.
  6. Track record of consistently meeting/exceeding sales quotas personally, and as a sales leader.
  7. Excellent leadership, interpersonal and influencing skills; ability to build strong business partnerships both outside, and within the organization.
  8. ADDED - experience working with partners is a plus
  9. Strong track record as a coach and mentor.
  10. Skilled at business planning and diligent at measuring and communicating progress towards the plan, identifying roadblocks, and coming up with appropriate solutions.
  11. Experience with target account selling, value selling, and/or consultative sales techniques.
  12. Highly professional persona and polished demeanor. Strong verbal/written communication and presentation skills; effective at delivering executive level presentations.
  13. Vast experience in Salesforce.com with an analytical mindset.
  14. Bachelor's degree; MBA a plus.
