Key Responsibilities- Program Management: Lead and oversee the operations of BPA projects, ensuring adherence to budget, schedule, and quality standards. Provide strategic direction and guidance to project teams.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with stakeholders at all levels, including government officials and project team members, to ensure alignment with project goals and objectives. Maintain strong relationships and effectively manage expectations.
- Change Management: Design and implement change management strategies to facilitate the adoption of new processes, technologies, and organizational changes. Ensure smooth transitions and minimal disruption to operations.
- Team Leadership: Provide leadership and mentorship to project teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment. Set clear expectations, provide regular feedback, and promote professional development.
- Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with project delivery. Develop contingency plans and monitor risk mitigation efforts to ensure project success.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with government regulations, contractual requirements, and industry standards. Maintain documentation and records in accordance with established procedures.
- Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project delivery processes, increase efficiency, and optimize resource utilization.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Change Management, or a related field. Advanced degrees are preferred.
- Experience: At least 15 years of professional experience in program/project management, with significant exposure to government or DoD programs. Experience in managing large, complex IT projects is highly desirable.
- Required Certification: Change Management certification (e.g., CCMP, CPCM) is required.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Proficient in stakeholder engagement and management.
- Expertise in designing and implementing change management strategies.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
- Willingness to travel as needed to support project requirements.
- Must be able to secure and maintain government clearance.
- Familiarity with Information Technology Service Management (ITSM) and Agile methodologies is preferred.
- Work Schedule: This is a full-time position with a hybrid work schedule, requiring a combination of remote work and on-site presence in our Washington, D.C. office.
