Accounts Receivable Specialist

We are urgently hiring an experienced Accounts Receivable Specialists to join our clients team. Qualified candidates are encouraged to apply today for immediate consideration.
Primary Job Responsibilities:
- Review return authorizations and issue credit memos.
- Maintain customer accounts.
- Set up new accounts.
- Handle collections.
- Receive payments and post them to the appropriate customer accounts.
- Prepare and transmit daily bank deposits.
- Settle daily credit card payments.
- Complete the day-end procedure.
- Review invoices, close work orders in SugarCRM, and send invoices to customers (mailing, scanning, emailing PDFs, and electronically via EDI system).
- Process any debit/credit AR adjustments.
- Perform month-end procedures.
- Change expired education accounts to retail.
- Perform year-end procedures.
- Other duties as assigned.
Basic Qualification Requirements:
- Associate’s degree or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
- 3+ years of experience in Accounts Receivable.
- Knowledge of Accounts Payable is a plus.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with good organizational skills.
- Experience with MS Office and good computer knowledge.
- Experience in the trading/manufacturing industry.
- Knowledge of Great Plains software is a plus.
