From your PASSION to ours

The HR Specialist supports all areas of HR, including HR management, employee relations, HR administration and data audit/analysis, as well as Talent Acquisition and Talent Development for the division. The role ensures data accuracy, runs audits, generates reports, and analyzes data to identify process improvement opportunities. This role is pivotal in implementing and upholding HR programs, policies, and guidelines, simplifying complex information for HR Representatives, managers, and employees to enhance communication and improve the overall employee experience. The role collaborates closely with the HR team on various HR initiatives and programs.


From your EXPERTISE to ours

Key responsibilities for this position include:


1. Organizational Development and Talent Acquisition (Division):

  • Assist with Organizational Development programs in support of annual performance appraisal campaign, engagement surveys, training plans/budgets, exit interview metrics, and other ad-hoc talent development projects.
  • In support of Talent Acquisition, assist throughout the recruitment process, completing day one onboarding tasks in our HRIS system, preparing New Hire Announcements and other related communications, and other related duties.


2. HR Management and Employee Relations

  • Support employees throughout the full employee lifecycle. Initiate and ensure completion of onboarding within the HRIS and other systems, coordinate and conduct new employee orientation, initiate status changes (promotions, salary changes, LOA, terminations, etc.), and exit interviews.
  • Educate and guide employees and managers on company HR program guidelines, policies, practices and laws which govern organizational human resources. Answer employee questions and research and resolve problems.
  • Create, train and educate HR team on procedures (Standard Operating Procedures) and processes. Routinely perform audits of own work and that of others to ensure conformance and accuracy with established procedures.
  • Generate HR reports and analyze data to identify trends and recommend improvements to HR policies, procedures, and best practices. Make recommendations to improve departmental procedures and processes.
  • Assist in the implementation of HR programs, and initiatives including performance management, compensation cycle and employee engagement.
  • Participate in HR initiatives and special projects.

3. HR Administration and data analysis:

  • Act as a backup to the HR & Payroll Administrator, partner with US Shared Services team to ensure accurate payroll processing and reporting for the LUSY business unit.
  • Partner with the HR & Payroll Administrator to assist with routine daily/weekly/monthly reporting and data analysis. Respond to ad hoc data requests.
  • Partner with the HR & Payroll Administrator to assist with the compensation cycle (merit increase and bonus).
  • Maintain and audit HR files.

Qualified applicants will contribute the following:

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or human resources management or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience:

  • 2+ years of experience in HR with a proven experience working as an HR Generalist or in a similar role with a focus on data and documentation accuracy and employee relations
  • Experience with HRIS systems such as SuccessFactors, Paylocity and Kronos/UKG is preferred.

Skills / Abilities:

  • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with diverse stakeholders, including senior-level management.
  • Strong problem-solving and influencing skills, with the ability to identify opportunities for process improvements, standardization, and simplification within assigned area(s)
  • Ability to understand and recognize priorities, deadlines and execute with a sense of urgency. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
