CXI Trucking is dedicated to providing on-time service to our customers. We are looking for a motivated LTL salesperson that can successfully move into the Director of Sales position. The candidate will be responsible for meeting revenue and profit goals. The candidate should be responsive to the customer, ensuring expectations are met and exceeded. The candidate will serve as the customer's key point of contact through in-person meetings, telephone calls, and email communications. The candidate must be highly motivated, goal-oriented, strong communicator, and set/maintain a high level of service and reliability.

Minimum Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Must have 2+ years of Business sales or equivalent experience
  • Highly Motivated
  • Goal Oriented
  • Strong Communicator
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Experience with managing a sales platform preferred.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Cultivate and grow geographic territory through consistent new business development and growth of current accounts
  • Analyze client supply chain, the market, and CXI Trucking service offerings to best act as a valuable supply chain consultant; providing value with each engagement
  • Develop relationships with decision-makers and influencers in various departments and at various levels through live interaction in geographic territory
  • Effectively leverage the technology tools available to provide world-class service and information to current and prospective customers. Tools include, but are not limited to, internal operating systems, Career Logistics, Inc, and Sales Platform
  • Keep a record of daily activities in The Sales Platform
  • Be aware of and effectively address customer concerns
  • Problem-solving techniques
  • Supervisory Responsibilities required
