Western National is seeking a Senior Claims Support Specialist to join our team

The individual in this role will have the opportunity to provide administrative and clerical support to Claims Team members.


What are the responsibilities and opportunities of this role?

  • Keeps accurate and current records in designated systems that are accessible to others.
  • Updates routine reports and understands information.
  • Seeks relevant information and answers to key questions from defined sources.
  • Applies knowledge to help solve problems of relatively limited scope and complexity.
  • Must follow established procedures.
  • Contacts other internal departments and team members.
  • Answers incoming customer calls for department.
  • Conducts communications that are primarily task / learning-related and involves creating and delivering varied types of messages and information.
  • Must act as a backup for front desk receptionist.
  • Performs special projects and other duties as assigned.

  • Time management skills / ability to meet deadlines.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proficient use of various core systems, office and computer equipment, and software packages.

Compensation overview

The full hiring range for this role is $22.30 - $31.20, hourly. However, the base pay offered may vary depending on the job-related knowledge, skills, credentials, and experience of each candidate as well as other factors, such as the scope and location of the role. Candidates looking for compensation outside of the posted range are encouraged to apply and will be considered based on their individual qualifications and / or may be considered for other positions.
