The Field Claims department is actively seeking Field Claims Specialists to manage the territory surrounding Greater Minneapolis / St. Paul, MN. Candidates must reside within this area.


This role offers both experienced and entry-level representatives the chance to investigate and assess multi-line insurance claims through direct engagement, ensuring precise settlements.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive claim investigations
  • Interview insured parties, claimants, and witnesses
  • Consult police and medical records
  • Evaluate claim details and policy coverage
  • Inspect property and vehicle damages, preparing repair estimates
  • Draft reports of findings and negotiate settlements with insured parties and claimants
  • Utilize claims-handling software, company vehicles, and mobile applications in a paperless environment
  • Deliver exceptional and professional customer service

Qualifications:

For Entry Level Claims Specialists:
Salary:
The compensation range for this position is $55,000 - $79,800 annually, determined by the applicant's education, experience, location, knowledge, skills, and abilities. Eligible associates may also receive an annual cash bonus and stock incentives based on individual and company performance.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Strong problem-solving, negotiation, organizational, and prioritization skills
  • Timely follow-up with others
  • A valid driver's license

Preferred Background:
  • A bachelor's degree
  • AINS, AIC, or CPCU designations are preferred

For Experienced Claims Specialists:
Salary:
The compensation range for this position is $62,000 - $94,500 annually, determined by the applicant's education, experience, location, knowledge, skills, and abilities. Eligible associates may also receive an annual cash bonus and stock incentives based on individual and company performance.

  • Experience in multi-line claims preferred
  • Ability to thoroughly assess auto, property, and bodily injury damages
  • Capacity to work independently
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Strong problem-solving, negotiation, organizational, and prioritization skills
  • Timely follow-up with others
  • A valid driver's license

Preferred Background:
  • One or more years of claims handling experience
  • AINS, AIC, or CPCU designations are preferred
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
