OVERVIEW

Movement Strategy is seeking an Account Supervisor for New Business to oversee all inbound new business inquiries for the agency. In this role, you will work closely with senior leadership and serve as the front line in establishing new client relationships at Movement. Reporting to the EVP of Growth and Account Management, you will collaborate with team members from the Creative, Strategy, Data & Insights, and Operations departments. The Account Supervisor, New Business will be responsible for delivering our agency's responses to new business inquiries, including pitch RFP responses, agency capabilities, pricing, and service model recommendations.

Most importantly, you will play a critical role in shaping our external narrative to future clients, demonstrating our expertise, and differentiating us from competitors through persuasive narratives and case studies. Mastery of agency storytelling in deck form is essential. The ultimate goal of this role is to deliver pitches that win new business and increase revenue.

We prioritize professional growth and development, offering continuous learning opportunities and a supportive atmosphere that empowers our teams to push boundaries and deliver exceptional results.

KEY FOCUS AREAS

  • Driving Revenue Growth and Pitch Conversion: The primary goal of this role is to drive revenue growth from inbound client inquiries for our services. You will lead the pitch process and manage our deliverables from the receipt of requests through final submissions and presentations.
  • Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams: Work with agency leads to develop and implement strategies for business growth, deliver cross-capability RFP responses, and report on key metrics to measure the success of these efforts.
  • Building Agency Narrative: Create a consistent agency narrative in our capabilities, segmented by category, vertical, or service line offering.
  • Client Onboarding: Assist in the onboarding of new clients and serve as a bridge to the onboarding team to ensure smooth transitions to the Account team.
  • New Business Operations: Oversee new business operations including pipeline management, project management standards, key metric tracking, commercial repository, template creation, resource centralization, and new business updates to teams.

  • Accuracy and Efficiency: Ensure the delivery and accuracy of RFI/RFP and new business capability responses within a clear and efficient process.
  • Performance Improvement: Enhance the performance of our new business conversion by monitoring key metrics such as the number of successful pitches, the conversion rate of leads to clients, and the satisfaction of team members with their roles and responsibilities.

QUALIFICATIONS + KEY FOCUS AREAS

  • At least 8-10 years of experience within the creative agency industry as a new business or account management leader.
  • Proven experience running agency pitches and processes, or leading high-profile client relationships with a focus on project management excellence.
  • Expertise in crafting compelling storylines that persuade prospects to work with the agency brand, demonstrating excellent deck writing and presentation skills.
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and aligning them to work cohesively.
  • A passion for creating, leading, and enforcing clear project management plans to ensure timely delivery of services.

IDEAL QUALITIES

  • High energy, passionate, curious, confident, and tenacious in learning, coupled with the ability to navigate the nuances of different client teams.
  • Must communicate quickly and accurately, think quickly or improvise, and present confidently.
  • Should be a nimble self-starter and quickly adjust to internal and external teams in an ever-changing environment; identify opportunity with bias to action.
  • You're proactive and naturally curious about the digital and social space, constantly looking for opportunities to evolve the department and advance the work.
  • You are passionate about the work you do and treat your client's business as if it were your own.
  • Have a track record of success in building strong relationships, leading teams, influencing others, and navigating client culture.
  • You have a diverse and inclusive perspective, valuing different viewpoints and backgrounds within the team.
  • You make others' jobs easier (no matter who they are or what they do)
  • You create a positive and open environment.
  • Your attention to detail is unmatched, ensuring that paid outputs meet the highest quality standards and align with client objectives.

We believe that what we put out into the world matters. And since we were founded on the principles of paving our own path, we take bold steps toward what we believe is the right direction.
