We are seeking a dynamic Account Supervisor (AS) to work with an online marketplace client that is at the forefront of the worlds top trends and which boasts an inventory unlike anywhere else. The AS will lead and drive earned media efforts as part of industry-leading integrated campaigns that support the clients priority product verticals which include sneakers, trading cards, luxury handbags, luxury watches, refurbished goods and much more. **Responsibilities:**

+ Secure a steady cadence of earned media coverage that supports clients key product verticals and integrated campaigns

+ Leverage existing relationships and build new relationships with key media stakeholders

+ Lead and execute earned media-centric campaigns; effectively work across a larger integrated team to deliver successful and holistic client work

+ Counsel clients and troubleshoot client and internal issues

+ Demonstrate writing excellence when crafting internal and client materials and correspondence

+ Use relationships with third-party influencers and internal business partners to meet client needs

+ Oversee financial and operational performance of account, ensuring quality work, deadline and budget adherence, and that plan creation and execution map to goals

+ Supervise staff by mentoring, motivating, coaching, consistently providing feedback, holding them accountable and conducting their reviews

+ Participate in integrated agency meetings and represent earned point of view

+ Introduce clients to new capabilities, and display strong presentation skills during client presentations

+ Commit to continuous learning and improvement of leadership skills; set and pursue stretch goals

+ Demonstrate behaviors consistent with Edelmans values and Code of Ethics and Business Conduct

**Basic Qualifications:**

+ The account supervisor must have at least four years of relevant experience in public relations and/or related fields including research, advertising, management consulting, media and publishing

**Preferred Qualifications:**

+ A bachelors degree in a related field and a proven ability to manage large projects as well as small teams on one or more sizable accounts

+ A comprehensive understanding of his/her clients businesses and their missions, as well as their key stakeholders: consumers, employees, investors, regulators, media, vendors, partners, and other businesses/organizations, etc., and will be able to impart this knowledge to account team members

+ Excellent written and verbal communications skills and a demonstrated ability to delegate tactical assignments and accurately judge and edit the work of others

+ The ability to work with senior staff to develop and execute communications plans based on client goals

+ Familiar with best practice communications tactics and public relations tools and will be able to recommend them to his/her clients

+ The ability to act as a daily client contact and to be responsible for client-related finance management, including managing large projects within budget
