Job Description

The Supervisor for Records Management/Policy and Procedures involves highly administrative work of varying degrees of difficulty and responsibility. It entails planning, coordinating , researching and administrating all Projects related to these units. The Supervisor will also have a limited amount of supporting Roles/Tasks related to Data Governance/Data Cleansing Unit as needed.

Under general supervision, with great latitude for the exercise of independent judgment or action, performs responsible supervisory work and/or difficult and responsible administrative tasks related to the Work Area , such as the following:

Records Management:

- Supervises and coordinates daily work of subordinates.

- Documents Procedures and training for subordinates.

- Plans, schedules and assigns work tasks to meet set Milestones

- May, when necessary, perform the duties of subordinate title

- Weekly Executive, Quarterly Reporting on all Projects, Any Audit Reporting Updates

- Review of Individual and Project Reports used for Reporting

Policy And Procedures

- Researches all available Resources to gather an understanding of TRS Business Processes to support Business

- Governance of Policy and Procedure Documentation

- Coordination and updates of Policies through Policy Governance Committee (PGC)

- Tracking of Modernization Procedures/ Exception Resolutions

- Development & Maintenance of Non-Modernization Documents

- Holds Meeting with Executive Management, Business and Technical Stakeholders, End users, Business Analysts, architects, and developers

- Weekly Executive, Quarterly Reporting on all Projects, , Any Audit Reporting Updates

Data Governance/Data Cleansing

- Business Term Definitions & Approvals

- Newsletter Publication Support

- High level understanding of Data Governance Goals and Tasks to support Reporting

Qualifications

1. A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university including or supplemented by 12 credits in mathematics, statistics, accounting, and/or actuarial science and four years of satisfactory full-time experience implementing the provisions of a retirement plan involving the use of mathematical, statistical, actuarial or accounting computations, 18 months of which must have been in an administrative, managerial or executive capacity or supervising professionals implementing the provisions of a retirement plan involving the use of mathematical, statistical, actuarial or accounting computations; or

2. An associate degree or 60 credits from an accredited college or university, including or supplemented by 12 credits in mathematics, statistics, accounting and/or actuarial science and six years of satisfactory full-time experience as indicated in 1; or

3. Education and/or experience equivalent to 1 or 2 above. However, all candidates must have 60 credits from an accredited college or university, including or supplemented by 12 credits in mathematics, statistics, accounting and/or actuarial science and the 18 months of experience in a supervisory, administrative, managerial or executive capacity as described in 1 above.
