Administrative Charter Assistants at OneWater stores are passionate about delighting customers and supporting the Sales/Service Team in order to exceed their volume and margin sales/service goals. As a member of the Charter Team your role will be to assist and support the US-based Charter Management Team out of the Fort Lauderdale office. The position is non-exempt.


Qualifications & Expectations

  • The Charter Assistant provides fast and excellent service, while treating all Clients as well as all suppliers, crew and all Denison Yachting staff with respect and courtesy and all information received with utmost confidentiality.
  • The Charter Assistant performs all tasks and duties in accordance with the company`s quality management system (QMS) including guidelines, procedures and policies or other specific instructions for Charter Managers, subject to regular revisions by Denison Yachting.
  • The Charter Assistant follows the filing structure provided within the file server of the company (One Drive) and maintains full current records of Clients activities in the CRM System or the One Drive as instructed by the Responsible Person(s).
  • The Charter Assistant develops and maintains in-depth knowledge of standard Denison Yachting principles of business conduct, business practices and ethics and applies these to all aspects of the role.
  • The Charter/Office Assistant is present in the office during set working hours except when absent due to client meetings, shipyard or yacht visits and boat shows.
  • This job description is subject to amendments and alterations from time to time, at the discretion of the Directors.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • General Assistance of the U.S. Charter Managers
  • Assist with the administration of CA Agreements and Charter Agreements
  • Update all databases for CA yachts: CRM, Yachtfolio, Central yacht agent and Charter Index
  • Communicate all updates and changes with Yacht Management Team
  • Participate in Charter and Yacht Management meetings
  • Assist and participate with CRM administration, including but not limited to the registration of all prospects, clients, contacts, enquiries, and opportunities.
  • Upload/select images for the website and brochure.
  • Assist the U.S. Charter Managers with viewings for their CA yachts, if needed
  • Assist to ensure that information on yachts, Captain and Crew are gathered and regularly updated, including verification of toy lists.
  • Assist with updating the booking calendar for the local CA yachts.
  • Assist with monitoring the renewal dates of ships papers, insurance papers and charter licenses.
  • Assist with logging all incoming CA enquiries daily.
  • Assist with follow-ups on charter enquiries.
  • Review and maintain accuracy of CRM Yacht Records for local CA Yachts for Monthly Charter Updates.

Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in hospitality, tourism, or related field is a plus.
  • Previous experience in the yachting or hospitality industry is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Familiarity with yacht charter software and CRM systems is an advantage.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
  • Customer-focused with a professional demeanor.
