Human Resources Generalist

PURPOSE
Support and manage various human resources functions. Ensure the smooth operation of HR processes and provide guidance and support to employee and management. The HR Generalist plays a crucial role in fostering a positive work environment and contributing to the overall effectiveness and success of the organization.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
- Employee Relations
- Time System/Payroll Processing
- Benefit Administration
- Performance Management
- Compliance with Labor Laws
- Implementation of HR policies and procedures
- Set up new employee on all processing systems including payroll, time system, etc.
- Update and maintain the Flex Spending account and prepare disbursements paid through payroll
- Verification of Employment (current/former)
- Accrued Paid Time Off – Monthly reporting
- Assist with benefit billings and quarterly attendance tracking
- Filing and maintaining personnel files
- Member of the Business Continuity Team
¤ Essential job function
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- High School diploma
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or similar work experience
- Microsoft product knowledge including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, and Outlook
- Knowledge of HR Laws and Regulations
- Familiarity with HRIS systems
