Job Summary

LHH is seeking a seasoned Human Resources Manager to lead a small HR team and oversee a manufacturing facility of approximately 150 employees. As a key member of the organization, you will be responsible for supporting the strategic direction of the company and overseeing HR administration and compliance, employee engagement, recruitment, onboarding, talent development, benefits administration, and more.

Key Responsibilities
  • HR Leadership: Serve as a hands-on HR leader, roll up your sleeves, and spend time on the production floor with hourly associates to foster a positive work environment.
  • Employee Engagement: Responsible for employee engagement and serving as the primary point of contact for all HR-related issues, ensuring a high level of employee satisfaction and retention.
  • HR Strategies: Coordinate human resources strategies including employment processing, compensation, health and safety, benefits, training and development, records management, safety and health, and retention.
  • Liaison: Serve as a liaison between the management staff and all employees by appropriately addressing questions and helping to resolve work-related issues.
  • Recruitment: Source, recruit, interview, and hire qualified candidates to meet the company's staffing needs.
  • Onboarding: Develop and facilitate onboarding programs for new hires to ensure a smooth transition into the company.
  • Administrative Tasks: Complete paperwork for LOA, Workman's Comp, etc., and organize and administer the performance management program.
  • Employee Development: Evaluate and recommend training resources to support employee development and growth.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor Degree in Human Resources, Business Management, Ethics, or related field is required.
  • Certifications: PHR/SHRM Certification is preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 8+ years of Human Resources experience within a manufacturing, warehousing, and/or distribution facility is required.
  • Management Experience: Minimum of 5+ years of Human Resources Management experience leading a small HR team is required.
  • HRIS Experience: Must have experience using an HRIS.
  • Employee Relations: Must have experience with work-related employee issues, injuries, claims, etc. in a manufacturing, distribution, and/or warehousing operation.
  • Confidentiality: Must possess the ability to maintain high level of confidentiality and integrity while executing responsibilities.
  • Collaboration: Must have a core knowledge of and ability to collaborate with all areas within HR such as payroll, compensation, employee relations, and benefits packages.
  • Influence: Must have demonstrated ability to influence and align organizational strategies to maximize talent capability and behaviors.
  • Partnership: Must have experience in partnering with colleagues in all levels of an organization to drive priorities.
