Job Overview

Position Title: Human Resources Supervisor

Department: Administration

Reports To: Chief Financial Officer

Educational Background: Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management or a related field

Certifications: SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP preferred

Professional Experience: Minimum of 5 years in the Human Resources sector, with supervisory experience being advantageous

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with executive leadership to comprehend and implement the organization's human resource and talent strategy, with an emphasis on employee retention and fostering a robust workplace culture.
  • Offer support and advice to HR personnel on intricate and sensitive matters, including managing tasks in delicate situations such as accommodations, investigations, and terminations.
  • Oversee employee benefits programs, including enrollment and modifications.
  • Assist the Talent Manager in the recruitment process, from sourcing candidates to onboarding.
  • Maintain and revise Human Resource documentation and forms.
  • Facilitate reference checks, drug screenings, and candidate communications.
  • Design and implement internal training and development initiatives for staff.
  • Manage disciplinary meetings, terminations, and exit interviews.
  • Ensure adherence to employment laws and regulations, and suggest policy modifications as necessary.
  • Stay informed on HR trends, best practices, and legal updates.
  • Conduct employee feedback surveys for ongoing organizational enhancement.
  • Perform additional assigned tasks as required.
