InvigorateHR, a dynamic human resource consulting firm in Indianapolis, IN, is seeking a driven and client-focused HR Generalist Consultant to join its team. This is a part-time role working approximately 10-15 hours per week, mostly virtual but may require client visits and in-person meetings. Availability during normal business hours is required.

As an HR Generalist Consultant, you will apply your broad HR knowledge and expertise to understand client needs and develop practical solutions. Your key responsibilities include:

Client Needs Assessment (40%)
  • Meet with clients to understand their businesses, goals, and HR needs
  • Ask thorough questions to assess the "big picture" and client's ultimate objectives
  • Collect relevant information to formulate appropriate HR solutions
Project Planning & Execution (40%)
  • Plan, manage, and execute HR consulting projects per established plans
  • Ensure deadlines, budgets, and quality standards are met
  • Identify and resolve issues that may impact project outcomes
  • Provide innovative and forward-thinking HR solutions
  • Present completed projects, interpret outcomes, and assist with implementation
Client Relations (20%)
  • Build strong relationships by serving as a trusted HR advisor
  • Communicate regularly with clients to manage expectations and provide updates
  • Gather client feedback to continuously improve services
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in HR or related field; advanced degree preferred
  • 3+ years of generalist HR experience across various industries
  • HR certification (SHRM, PHR, SPHR) preferred
  • Expertise in HR laws, compliance, policies, and best practices
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and client service skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple client projects
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
