About the Role
Onus Talent is looking for an ambitious and hardworking rising star to develop and execute engagement marketing strategies that increase the positive impact of our client's technology for their network of nonprofit clients. At Onus Talent, we are sourcing this role for a company that is building modern, end-to-end payment infrastructure making donors' lives easier, and nonprofits' lives better.
Core Functions:
Partnership Marketing:
- Leverage channel partner relationships (fundraising platforms like GoFundMe, GiveButter, etc.) to create segmented and personalized messaging that drives nonprofits to adopt better fundraising strategies with our client's products.
Content Creation:
- Design and distribute high-quality visual and written collateral including blog posts, help articles, newsletters, webinar presentations, LinkedIn posts, and customer success stories that effectively convey our client's message and impact to various audiences.
Event Management:
- Manage conference calendar and facilitate meetups, events, and dinners to foster community engagement, promote our client's brand, and support their nonprofit partners.
Data-Driven Optimization:
- Stay close to the nonprofit audience and utilize data-driven insights and customer feedback to continuously optimize the approach to multi-channel engagement marketing strategy.
About You
Experience:
- 2+ years of experience in marketing, consulting, communications, or community building.
- Previous work at startups and in the nonprofit sector is a plus.
Skills:
- A strong eye for design, visual communication, and information hierarchy.
- Proficiency with tools used for email marketing, social media marketing, collateral creation, customer management, and project management. Additional experience with analytics/reporting tools and A/B testing tools is a plus.
- Excellent project management skills and the ability to organize and execute multiple projects simultaneously.

- Love for people combined with the ability to listen deeply and ask insightful follow-up questions.
- Produce materials that quickly identify the smallest actions leading to the largest results.
- High social skills and confidence in establishing new contacts and relationships.
