About the Role

In the position of Senior Lifecycle Marketing Associate, your primary focus will be to enhance conversion rates and customer engagement for GlossGenius users and potential clients. You will craft campaigns that address customers at every stage of their journey, including nurturing leads, personalizing communications, and optimizing feature launch announcements to stimulate word-of-mouth referrals and lifecycle engagement.

You will report directly to the Senior Manager of Lifecycle Marketing and will be expected to work in a hybrid model, spending two days a week in the office.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement campaigns for feature releases that encourage referrals and word-of-mouth marketing.
  • Create and manage lead nurturing campaigns that assist SMB and solopreneur customers through the sales process.
  • Design and execute lifecycle marketing initiatives aimed at boosting conversion and retention rates.
  • Effectively communicate the value of our platform to prospective GlossGenius customers through tailored messaging.
  • Collaborate with various teams, including product marketing, sales, and social media, to create impactful campaigns that meet business goals and yield measurable outcomes.
  • Become an expert in customer engagement, focusing on email marketing, customer journeys, personalization strategies, and cross-channel approaches.
  • Leverage both quantitative and qualitative data to assess, track, and enhance the effectiveness of our lifecycle marketing efforts.
  • Provide regular updates and insights to stakeholders regarding program performance.
Qualifications
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a Lifecycle or email marketing role within a B2C or B2SMB environment, preferably in a SaaS context; experience in a high-growth company with a self-service model is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated success in improving conversion rates and engagement through lifecycle marketing campaigns.
  • Familiarity with lifecycle experimentation techniques, including A/B and multivariate testing.
  • Strong understanding of various marketing channels, including email, push notifications, in-app messaging, and SMS.
  • Ability to analyze both quantitative and qualitative data to identify issues and collaborate with teams to design effective lifecycle programs.
  • Experience with marketing automation tools such as Iterable and Hubspot is preferred; familiarity with Looker, Tableau, Mixpanel, or Amplitude, and proficiency in SQL is a significant advantage.
  • Basic knowledge of HTML and CSS for email marketing.
  • Enthusiasm for leveraging AI to enhance productivity and campaign outcomes.

Compensation
The starting base salary for this role is competitive and varies based on experience, skills, and other factors. This position is also eligible for participation in the company's equity plan and a comprehensive benefits package.
