Position Overview:
The Engagement and Retention Marketing Lead plays a crucial role in fulfilling the mission of the American Montessori Society (AMS) by designing and implementing focused marketing communications aimed at enhancing the experience of individual members, educational institutions, and affiliate organizations. This position is essential for maximizing revenue from events and professional development initiatives, increasing member engagement, and achieving renewal objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
1. **Strategic Development:** Formulate and execute strategies that enhance member engagement and retention while driving revenue growth.
2. **Cross-Channel Campaigns:** Plan and implement integrated marketing campaigns utilizing various channels such as email, social media, digital advertising, and direct mail.
3. **Social Media Management:** Oversee the organization’s social media strategy, enhancing AMS's online presence and fostering audience engagement to improve member satisfaction.

4. **Collaborative Member Experience:** Work closely with Membership and other teams to develop and implement a member experience strategy that promotes engagement and retention.
5. **Content Creation:** Write and edit compelling copy, manage creative projects, and oversee freelance designers to ensure high-quality output.

Additional Responsibilities:
1. **Member Engagement Processes:** Establish and maintain systems for listening to and addressing member feedback across various channels.
2. **Lead Nurturing Campaigns:** Develop and execute automated campaigns aimed at nurturing leads and enhancing member engagement.
3. **Event Revenue Goals:** Strive to meet revenue and registration targets for AMS's conferences, in-person events, and online classes.

4. **Onboarding Processes:** Collaborate with the Growth Marketing Manager to create effective onboarding processes that equip all member types with the necessary support and resources.
5. **Audience Management:** Manage audience segmentation in HubSpot, crafting personalized messaging and utilizing dynamic content and automation as needed.

Performance Optimization:
1. **Continuous Improvement:** Enhance marketing effectiveness and conversion rates through ongoing testing, tracking, and optimization across various channels.
2. **Analytics Utilization:** Leverage analytics and member feedback to monitor, test, and improve retention, engagement, and revenue outcomes.

In this role, the Engagement and Retention Marketing Lead will be a vital contributor to increasing and communicating the value of membership for individuals, educational institutions, and teacher education program directors, while also driving registrations for events and promoting educational offerings.
