Job Purpose


The Regional Sales Manager Territory is responsible to manage and grow Amiad USA business in the Central region (Portion of to be defined ) of the United States and TO BE DEFINED in CANADA IF with a particular focus on water sales into the TO BE DEFINED industry. The primary responsibility is to direct the sales efforts of the industrial and Municipal segment supporting reps and distributor accounts for the Amiad Water Systems product line in the territory and O&G sales and coordination in the entire Amiad market region. This position is also required to work with, and target engineering companies, contractors involved in Industrial and Municipal projects, as well as to develop relationships with key industrial target accounts across and OEM’s in the Oil and Gas Industry in the defined territory while acting as a national coordinator and Team Leader for Oil and Gas sales in the USA and Canada. There are no supervisory responsibilities.


Duties and Responsibilities


• Work with sales leadership to develop and execute growth plans and strategies for the industrial segments that are linked to the organization’s market objectives and strategies

• Consistently identify new business for specified technology and upcoming trends that can be turned in profitable business opportunities

• Prepare budgetary quotations and equipment proposals as necessary

• Work with Application Engineering (AE) team to develop high spec proposals

• Collaborate with AE and senior leadership to prepare and support participation to public bids

• Partner with project management team and AE to support project execution to completion

• Identify and develop relationships with key decision makers, uncover new business opportunities, recommend differentiated solutions and communicate successful strategies within the target markets

• Create positive and productive business relations with the Company appointed independent sales organizations, industrial segment and engineering firms

• Provide product training and sales presentations to the Company independent sales rep/distributors, engineering firms, and other influencers

• Monitor key client and industry actions

• Gain a thorough knowledge of competitors, their products, and activities

• Prepare monthly sales forecast, summary of actions, needs and opportunities to present to Industrial Business Unit Director

• Manage leads, opportunities, quotations, and contacts through the company CRM

• Develop marketing initiatives in cooperation with the product marketing team

• Participate in establishing expense budgets for the territory

• Establish sales goals for the independent sales rep companies and distributors within the region

• Continuously review status of outstanding proposals with distributors and sales reps

• Handle customer inquiries as needed in a timely, courteous, and professional manner

• Actively search for improvements in the selling process for cost reduction, improved efficiencies, and higher safety and quality

• Work closely with and supervise activities of inside sales team member

• Interact with Engineering and Operations to ensure correct system design and functionality

• Cooperate extensively with all functional departments within AUSA

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering or technical discipline and/or equivalent experience.

• 8-12 years in a similar sales role preferably working with high specs projects in Oil and Gas, process water applications

• Strong communication skills

• Ability to communicate effectively and clearly with customers as well as at all levels of the organization

• Able to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities in order to meet required deadlines

• Software applications - Competence with MSWord, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook (MS Office)

• Prefer SAP or other CRM system experience

• Consistently show patience and courtesy to customers; diplomacy and ability to resolve sales and equipment related problems

• Effectively integrate into and work within a team environment

• Prefer experience with water treatment and water systems that utilize pumps and valves

• Professional teamwork and interactive people skills

• Customer focused mindset

Work Environment

• Manufacturing environment with occasional exposure to noise, grinding, vapor, dust and lubricants

• Routinely required to use standard office equipment and expected to be proficient with a variety of computer programs, including MS Office tools (Outlook, Excel, Word, Power Point, etc.)

• Must adhere to Company safety policies

Physical Demands

• Frequently required to stand, walk, sit, crouch (bend at the knees), reach, stoop (bend at the waist), kneel, grasp, see, talk, hear and use hands to operate office equipment

• May occasionally lift or move office products and supplies typically 10-30 pounds but up to 50 pounds

• Adjustment to time changes when traveling between different time zones

Travel

• Frequent travel is required for this position
