Job Description

As a Human Resource Associate at Bunnell Lammons Engineering, Inc. (BLE), you will assume a pivotal role in our organization's dedication to excellence within our corporate team. The individual's primary responsibility is to provide support for the company's recruiting and human resources functions.


Minimum Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources
  • Internship or 1-2 years of experience in recruiting preferred
  • Required to work in an office environment with a consistent in-person presence to support daily HR operations and team collaboration.
  • 10% travel required
  • Communicates clearly and professionally, both orally and written
  • Capacity for working effectively and efficiently on multiple projects
  • Fluent in Microsoft Office Suite

Daily Functions and Duties

  • Identify and source qualified candidates for technician-level positions through various channels (job boards, social media, networking, etc.).
  • Screen resumes and applications, conducting initial interviews to assess candidate qualifications and fit.
  • Coordinate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop job descriptions in coordination with Sr. Recruiter.
  • Maintain and update the applicant tracking system (ATS) with candidate information and status updates.
  • Organize and participate in career fairs to attract potential candidates.
  • Works with new hires to complete pre-employment tasks (i.e. drug screening, background checks, transcript verification, and motor vehicle check).
  • Assist in processing new hire paperwork and coordinating orientation sessions.
  • Collaborate with other HR team members to continuously improve processes.
  • Provide administrative support to the HR team, including maintaining employee records.
  • Act as a point of contact for employee inquiries related to HR processes, benefits, and company policies.
  • Additional projects as assigned by the Human Resources Director.
