HUMAN RESOURCES MANAGER

Position Type: Permanent, Full Time

Location: Greenville, Michigan

Reports to: Site Director

Mission

As the Human Resources Manager, you are responsible for all human resources activities at the site level, such as, employee recruitment, retention, payroll, performance management, compensation and benefits, learning and development, along with policy and record keeping. The HR Manager functions as a part of the site management team, promotes and cultivates a positive culture and supports all employees.

  • Manages all aspects of recruiting and employee onboarding along with maintaining employee retention
  • Ensures proper procedures and policies are implemented, kept current and communicated
  • Maintains employee personnel files and acts as the site record keeper
  • Oversees annual performance management campaigns
  • Facilitates learning and development initiatives
  • Advises employees and site leadership to maintain compliance and a positive work environment
  • Strives to continually improve HR functions and efficiencies


Required Skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and/or Human Resources
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing environment, preferred
  • Minimum 5 years experience in a human resources role
  • Good interpersonal, analytical, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work with confidential information and maintain discretion
  • Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Applications and proficient in ADP
