Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with leadership, the Senior HR Generalist will oversee the daily execution of Human Resources initiatives, programs, and strategies (including communication, onboarding, integration, and talent management) within their designated area.
  • Work in tandem with the HR Business Partner on strategic HR projects that may encompass Employee Engagement, Performance Management, Learning and Development, Diversity, Compliance, Onboarding, and Recruitment.
  • Proactively address employee issues, leading and coordinating necessary investigations.
  • Partner with management and HR colleagues to ensure a smooth onboarding process for all new employees.
  • Manage all unemployment claims, FMLA, and Leave of Absence requests accurately and promptly.
  • Handle and maintain all workers' compensation claims in a timely manner, adhering to company policies and procedures.
  • Stay informed of Federal, State, and local regulatory changes to ensure compliance.
  • Maintain confidentiality and professionalism when dealing with sensitive information.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
  • A minimum of five years of experience in Human Resources.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Preferred qualifications include:
  • Experience in the healthcare sector.
  • Familiarity with UKG systems.
